Free Business and Computer Science Course - Link Updated

Please look at this unique opportunity for our students being offered by a non-profit group led by a CCSD student at Northwest Career and Tech.

Elevate the Future is a global organization, with 25 chapters, 12 states, and 6 countries involved, that teaches students skills that are applicable to the real world! Many young students grow up without a comprehensive understanding of the skills they have and the areas in which they can apply these skills. Here at Elevate the Future, we strive to provide young students with the resources to realize their passions early and apply these passions in a way they can excel. Our goal is to foster an environment in which students are able to explore various activities and discover and apply the skills they possess. I started a Nevada chapter with Gabby Detrick, Ashley Plan, and three others. We would like to inform you of an Online Two-Week Business and Computer Science Course (two days/week) that we are offering to local middle school students. Taught by local high school students with comprehensive experience in business and computer science, this completely FREE program has been proven to increase student’s business knowledge and abilities by 50%, as proven from other chapter’s experiences.
This Online Business Course will be on the dates of Tuesday, June 2th & Thursday, June 4th for the first week. Tuesday, June 9th & Thursday, June 11th are the dates for the second week. This class will be held from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm on the dates listed above. Those who attend will learn about economics, finance, pricing, revenue, marketing, and how to write a business plan!
