Learning for Mastery
Hyde Park Academy of Science and Mathematics
ACADEMY CELEBRATIONS
At the Academy, our goal is to have our students develop understanding – REAL understanding.
While we are certainly devoted to the advancement of learning in all of the academic areas, we believe strongly in the expansion of our students’ aesthetic interests. As Leonardo da Vinci so ably demonstrated, all aspects of learning are connected. We want our students to understand this when they move on.
Technology is an important part of our 21st century world, but communication skills remain vital to success. Individuals must be able to function in teams and express ideas in both oral and written form. To enhance and provide practice in these areas, we encourage our students to participate in a variety of contests and competitions.
We would like to share with you some of the recent opportunities experienced by our students.
