Professional Bio

B.A Chemistry and M.S. Environmental & Occupational Health - Both from California State University, Northridge

Worked in metal matrix composites until completing BA.  Worked as an Industrial Hygienist for ARCO.  Was an Environmental Health Specialist at the SNHD (formerly CCHD) for 9 years here in Vegas.  Owned two businesses, one in real estate and one in consulting for Environmental Health before becoming a teacher at CCSD.

Teaching Science 7 & 8 since January 2010.

Personal Bio

Married since 1986 - yes to the same beautiful lady.  I have two very talented and wonderful kids.  My daughter teaches 1st grade at Vasiliades Elementary and she just had another beautiful baby girl - our second grandchild! My son is a Aerospace Engineer scientist in Southern California and just got engaged to a wonderful young lady who happens to be a lawyer.  I have three Golden Retrievers who love to go on walks, hikes, and be crazy.  I enjoy bicycling, snorkeling, and skiing.
