The end-of-semester testing for our school is scheduled for Wednesday, December 19, Thursday, December 20, and Friday, December 21, 2018. Having three exam days allows your child to prep for only two exams each day. On exam days, the school will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. There will be no lunch served or after-school activities during exam days. Buses will transport bus students home. There will be no after-school supervision. Students who do not ride the bus need to be picked up or proceed home promptly at 11:30 a.m. Period 0 students must be in class from 7:00 a.m. – 7:45 a.m. each day of testing. Please refer to the attached test schedule below.

Disney for the Holidays Dance is a chaperoned activity for all students enrolled at Hyde Park and who have not been suspended during the current quarter. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all students, the dance guidelines below will be enforced. Please read the information below. Price of tickets includes a photo booth picture, face painting, Ugly Sweater Contest other activities. Snacks, soda, water, and candy will be sold for $1.00 each.

All students must have a ride home at 3:30 p.m.

One of our students was showcased on Fox 5 Begas news for being part of a very special Golden Knights Hockey Team. Thank you to Fox 5 Vegas and Vons/Albertsons for supporting students with limited abilities. Please see the attached flyer for the 4th Annual College Readiness Bootcamp sponsored by the Asian Community Council. The event is free to all 8th-12th-grade students and parents to help families and students prepare for college on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at the UNLV Student Union.

Students will be allowed to wear Halloween Costumes to school on Wednesday, October 31st. All costumes must meet CCSD dress code in addition to the following;
No weapons (real or simulated)
No masks
Face makeup/paint can only cover half of the face
Costumes cannot promote drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or violence.

Hyde Park MS Scholastic Book Fair. You can now purchase books and materials from the Book Fair through the online shop. The online shop is open October 19-31. Your purchases will help the Hyde Park Library.

Hyde Park Middle School Picture Day is Almost Here!

School pictures will be held on Wednesday, September 5th. Students will take pictures during their English class.
