Beginning Art : turn in your portfolio for the final exam ( a folder with your drawing to pass the class
( Design, Computer Animation or graphic art, Fine Arts, Game Art & cartoon, Illustration, Painting, sketching, Sculpture)
Turn in to Ms. Piazzi a folder with all your drawings collection by the end of May 2019For traditional art portfolios, emphasis is often placed on skill in drawing from observation of 2 or 3 dimensional objects (i.e. life drawing).

Include 10 works completed
1-Drawing samples sketches (your sketchbook) _________________________________

3-figure drawings, (Fashion or other clothing design)____________________________________
4-object studies,(fruit, animal, or a particular object) ____________________________________
5-Digital work should be kept to a minimum.____________________________________________

7-Color theory - Demonstrate use of color in painting, printmaking, drawing, and/or collage work.

10- Final Exam Drawing
At least half of the portfolio should consist of: Include strong shading with light, form, and spatial relations. Past work can be included, but it is more important to submit work that represents current skills and experiences. Never copy directly from another artist. Copy the masters of painting modifying their ideas with personal imagination.
Submitting work simply to show a range of mediums (such as one charcoal, one pastel, one watercolor, etc) is not recommended if it sacrifices consistency of quality.
