Science 7 (Period 4)
Course Description
This course is site specific to the Nevada State and Clark County School District Science Standards. This one-year program is designed to introduce seventh grade science students to the basic principles of a variety of sciences, related technologies and career opportunities. This curriculum utilizes integration of the sciences in other content areas through collaborative learning, community connections, and inquiry as it focuses on engineering design, chemistry, energy, relationships in ecosystems, earth’s resources and earth processes. An integrated approach is used throughout the three years of Hyde Park science.
