Course Description
Welcome to 2015! We are going to be studying ancient civilizations this month. We will be studying, and writing about Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, and the Medieval time period. Students will be reading, writing, and doing projects on these civilizations. Ask your child what they have learned about the different civilizations!
We will also continue to work on grammar skills and conventions in writing. Students will have a weekly paragraph to do each week after the week of semester finals. Most of these paragraphs will be based on what civilization we are learning about. These are assigned on Monday, and they are due on Friday.
