This one-year course introduces the Spanish language through exploration of history, geography, and different cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking countries. These topics will be the vehicle for delving into the 4 basic language skills -listening, reading, writing, and speaking. The goal of the Explorations course is to allow students to begin learning Spanish in an intercultural context and to better prepare them for Spanish I -should they continue studying Spanish.
