Hi Everyone,
Right now, at this exact moment, we are living history. This is an extraordinary time, never before happening and hopefully, never happening again. These times will definitely go into the history books. Once things get back to normal and we think back to this time, it would be great if we had documentation of everything that we're experiencing. I highly suggest that if you haven't already begun, that you begin journaling your experiences. You can type them and include photographs, news articles, and other sources to help you remember this time. You can handwrite your journal and include drawings, etc. You can record events, day to day activities, feelings, and fears. One day you can share this primary source of your own history with the next generations (children, grandchildren). This is, of course, optional but if you do this and would like to show it to me when we see each other again in person, I would love to see it!! It's all up to you (it may be too private to share with me.)

Today is Earth Day!! It is the 50th anniversary of Earth Day!! Because of this, I thought I would give you another opportunity to earn extra credit. Watch all 9 mini videos...they run anywhere from 2 and 1/2 minutes to 8 minutes...about 1 hour to watch them all. You can then write a 2 paragraph assignment. The 1st paragraph should be a summary to collectively summarize the videos. Use specific examples from the videos. The 2nd paragraph should be your response to them and their collective message.
