Vocabulary cards due. Students should pick 20 geographic landforms or body of water.  On the blank side of the index card students will write the name and illustrate the item.  On the other side, students will write the name and definition. All writing should be in black.  All illustrations should be outlined in black ink and colored with color pencils.  Once done, students should hole punch the cards and put them on the ring that they bought. 

Current Events Quiz 9-12-14. Students will take a quiz based on the current event stories of Wednesday, 9-10-14 and Thursday, 9-11-14.  They need to remember where the stories took place and key information about the story.  They also need to remember the names of the people involved.

Place riddles due today.  Students need to pick 5 places on earth.  They are to describe each place using 2 physical characteristics and 2 human characteristics. On a separate sheet of paper, they need to put the answers.
