Write a paragraph on the factors that contributed/influenced or caused your region to have its unique characteristics. They can be geographical, historical, cultural, the availability of natural resources, etc. Go into detail.  Write in complete sentences in ink or type double spaced, 12 font, New Roman Times. You need to have at least 5 sentences or more...thoroughly address the topic. This is an assessment grade.

U.S. Regions Packet and how it relates to the five themes of geography due.  Fill in each section in complete sentences.  Become an expert on the region you've been assigned especially in Place.  Write five interesting and unique things about your specific region.

Five Themes and Map quiz - Students will be tested on the Five Themes of Geography and map skills.

9/11 Flag due today. Students are to color the flag and then either draw an illustration or  write a poem to represent what happened that day. All illustrations need to be in colored pencils.  Poems need to be written in black ink.  List 3 changes that have occurred since 9/11, determine whether they were positive or negative and state why.

House maps with directions are due on this day.  You should have 3 sections: the first section is the map/maps, the second section is the directions to 10 different items in your house, the third section is the answers to those items.

Students should label all of the items that are given in the directions on the worksheet. Labels should be in black ink - print.
