Free and Reduced Lunch Application

All families receiving free or reduced lunch must reapply each year. Those families who have not applied this year will no longer receive Free or Reduced meals after September 25th. Hyde Park students benefit in 2 ways from the free or reduced lunch program. First and foremost, it is very difficult for hungry students to focus on their school work; well-nourished students are more productive. In addition, our school's Title 1 funds are determined by our percentage of students that receive free or reduced lunches based on applications. That funding is used to buy technology, provide after school tutoring, and lower class sizes, among other benefits for our students. Applications may be completed online at www.myschoolapps.com, or paper applications are available in the school office. If you have any questions, please contact the school at (702)799-4260.

Late Activities and Late Activity Buses

Students remaining after school must be in an adult supervised club or activity. Students not in a supervised activity must leave campus by 2:15 pm. Students are not allowed to remain at the park, play basketball on the outside courts, or roam around campus unsupervised after school. When clubs and activities are dismissed at 3:30 pm, students must report immediately to the front of the building by the flag pole to await their ride or the late activity bus or, if students walk home, they must leave immediately. Students waiting for a ride after late activities must be picked up by 3:45 pm or they will need to ride the late activity bus. Students may not leave campus after school and return to ride the late activity bus; only students in adult supervised clubs or activities will be allowed to ride the late activity bus. Students who do not follow these procedures will not be allowed to stay after school for late activities.
